Two-D Art

The selection of small paintings below is part of the Isolation Series that I made during the Pandemic. I made them on a daily basis during the time we all were living in isolation. Each painting is based on a word or a phrase that came to mind while painting alone in my studio. You can see the entire series on my instagram. I employed the associated letters of the words as graphic symbols for the composition of each piece. They are oil pastels on paper on plexiglass, sealed and mounted such that they can be installed on a wall in any of the four orientations.
