We meet on Wednesdays and sculpt in a friendly supportive environment. It is a joy to see everyone’s creativity. This is an abstract sculpture by Peter Krosunger.

It is wonderful to see everyone’s creativity, all beautifully varied both in focus and style.
Sculptures by our class members
We meet once a week ro sculpt together. We have been lucky to have had great models to work from. Private and group classes are available at 6 Vernon Street Somerville, MA.

Sculpting en Plein Air
On June 13th & 14th I will be sculpting live during Chelsea Art Walk. Come and say hello, 12-3 PM both days.
Address: Port Park, 99 Marginal Street in Chelsea, which is the address of the salt pile.
Fall Sculpture Class
Open Sculpture class this fall begins on September 10th. Sigh up for our three-week portrait class by 9/9/14 to secure your spot. You can renew your commitment every three-weeks for a different focus on an ongoing basis.
Extended sculpting sessions with the same model covers seated and reclining figures, bas-relief, portraiture, and working in the abstract.
Three week long poses will give you time to develop your personal vision, exploring the conceptual and practical aspects of modeling the figure in clay.
Wednesdays 6:30-9:30 PM
6:30-7 PM Presentation
7-9 PM Working from the model
9-9:30 PM Discussion, and cleanup
Fee: $35 per class, or $25 per class with membership of BFG includes the model fees.
You can purchase clay, $30 for 50 pounds, at the studio, or bring your own. Fee is payable by check or cash when class meets.
